YES to broadcast six Long Island games

YES will televise six Long Island Nets games this season, the network announced Friday.

Brooklyn’s NBA G League affiliate will be shown for the fIrst time on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. ET, when Long Island hosts the Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards G League affiliate. This is the first season for the Go-Go.

The YES broadcast crew will include a mix of on-air talent, both experienced and new personalities. Among them Long Island Nets play-by-play announcer Kevin Dexter and former Net Randy Foye. Tim Capstraw, the Nets radio analyst, is also part of the mix.

Dexter enters his third season of G League basketball coverage and has been the play-by-play voice of the Long Island Nets since the team’s inaugural 2016-17 season. Foye, an 11-year NBA veteran who last played with the Brooklyn Nets during the 2016-17 season, will join Dexter as the team’s color analyst. Capstraw, who begins his 17th season as the Brooklyn Nets’ radio color analyst, will team with Dexter for the Nov. 27 game when the Nets host the Greensboro Swarm.
