Breanna Stewart has a lot of reasons to be happy. She’s just one day removed from winning a WNBA championship with the Seattle Storm, in a year in which she also secured the honor of regular season and Finals MVP.
Stewart averaged 24.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game during the Storm’s triumphant postseason run. She included a nod to Boston Celtics’ star Kyrie Irving in her celebration.

Stewart donned Irving’s jersey as she posed for a picture in front of the Seattle skyline and just behind a set of balloons that read M-V-P, a friendly homage from one of the world’s best basketball players to another.
