Who are analysts selecting at pick No. 29 for Chiefs after start of free agency?
/ Chiefs

Mock draft season is upon us.

In our last mock draft roundup Justin Houston, Eric Berry, and Dee Ford were still members of the Chiefs. Free agency hadn’t yet began, and analysts only had the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine to go on.

Free agency is only a week old, but the Chiefs have addressed several needs and created a whole lot more. A lot of things can still change, but with the free agent market thinning the Chiefs have some glaring needs to fill. Here’s a look at who analysts have sent to the Chiefs most recently:

After the Chiefs released Justin Houston, and traded away Dee Ford, the new hot pick for the Chiefs is an edge rusher. Clelin Ferrell is the top name likely because of his poor pro day testing in comparison to other top prospects. Other names that have been mocked to the Chiefs are Jaylon Ferguson, which would be quite the reach, and Jachai Polite.
