Few things are as downright hilarious as when the crew at “A Bad Lip Reading of the NFL” drop a video. And Saturday’s edition of the series is enough to leave Raiders fans in stitches.
The first appearance by an Oakland player is by left tackle Donald Penn standing over a sitting offensive guard Gabe Jackson as the two appear to be discussing a missed blocking assignment. But, by the power of atrocious lip reading, the discussion becomes Jackson telling Penn “I own a Ford,” with Penn replying “you don’t own a Ford Doug, you own a Mazda” with a perturbed look on his face.
That’s followed by quarterback Derek Carr who instead of yelling out an audible his lips perfectly match him making one of the oddest sounds known to man in rapid succession just before offensive guard Kelechi Osemele pops onto the screen to give his player introduction as a talking head. But instead of giving his name and alma mater his mouth perfectly matches “I chewed up a cow’s neck.”
