Patrick Mahomes has been sensational through two weeks of the 2018 season. I don’t think even the biggest Chiefs homers out there predicted this type of immediate success for Mahomes.
On Sunday against the Steelers he threw more touchdown passes than he threw incompletions. He did something a Chiefs quarterback hasn’t been able to do in 32 years by beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Yet none of these things was his most impressive feat on the day.

Through the first two games in a season Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Charley Johnson tied for an NFL record nine touchdown passes, at least until today. Mahomes is the new NFL record holder for touchdown passes through the first two games in a season with 10. He got six of those touchdown passes against the Steelers.
On top of that Mahomes did it all without throwing a single interception. That’s got to sting for the “Mahomes will lead the league in interceptions”...
