Trevor Siemian says it felt a little weird to face Broncos, loves playing for Vikings

Trevor Siemian spent two seasons as the Denver Broncos’ primary quarterback before being traded to the Minnesota Vikings after the team brought in Case Keenum to replace him.

On Saturday evening, Siemian returned to Denver with Minnesota for a cross-conference preseason showdown.

“It is a little weird for the first game back here,” Siemian said of facing his former team. “Once you start playing, you kind of forget about those things. It is a little different for sure.”

Siemian had a respectable performance, completing 11-of-17 passes for 165 yards with two touchdown passes and one interception.

While he’s firmly a backup on the Vikings’ depth chart, Siemian said he is thrilled about being in Minnesota.
