Trent Williams wants Redskins to stop erratic play

Through four games, it has been hard to describe the Washington Redskins.

But offensive tackle Trent Williams might have summed it up perfectly while chatting with Ryan Homler of Redskins.com:

“At times we look like a playoff team, at times we look like a team that should be picking top-five in the draft,” offensive lineman Trent Williams said on the team’s performance. “So we can’t have as big a gap between our play, obviously we gotta try to find a way to level it out.”

Indeed, the Redskins started the season with a 24-6 win, then turned around lost their home opener to the Indnaipoilis Colts, 21-9.

Those Colts are now 1-4.

On a rebound, the Redskins beat Green Bay 31-17, then inexplicably came out of a bye week looking lost and taking a 43-19 beating at the hands of New Orleans.

Unfortunately for the Redskins, the settling point is probably somewhere in the middle. They need the injury bug to leave them alone (Williams himself is questionable Sunday vs. Carolina) and for players like Josh Norman to play up to their...
