The 2-3 Houston Texans stay at home for the second straight week to host a variable 2-3 Buffalo Bills Sunday at NRG Stadium.
Houston earned a second straight overtime victory in Week 5 with a 19-16 squeaker over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. With quarterback Deshaun Watson having thrown for 300-plus yards for the fourth straight game, the Texans offense appears to be on track. Add in the defense producing sacks and takeaways for the second game in a row, and the entire team appears to be living up to its preseason billing as a wildcard team.
The Bills handed the hot Minnesota Vikings an embarrassing 27-6 home loss in Week 3. Last week, Buffalo limited the Tennessee Titans to kicking field goals in a 13-12 win. Such is the season with rookie quarterback Josh Allen under center.
