The NFL Fandom Report for 2019 has been released and once again Tennessee Titans fans are ranked on the bottom of the list.
Hold on to your hats, Tennessee Titans fans, a new study has just been released saying you are one of the worst fanbases in the NFL.
The study, which is an annual thing done by Emory University Goizueta School of Business professor Michael Lewis, ranked the fanbases of all 32 NFL teams. The rankings themselves are based on fan equity, social equity and road equity.
Fan quity measures how much fans are willing to spend on their team, while social equity measures how active fans are on social media. The final statistic, road equity, covers how well fans travel to road games.
The result had the fanbases of the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers in the top five in that order.
Unfortunately, the Titans fanbase didn’t fare so well and ranked 30th in the league. The bottom five teams from 28 to 32 were the Cincinnati Bengals, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Titans, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles...
