Eleven members of the Vikings’ punt coverage team were unable to tackle Broncos returner Isaiah McKenzie on Saturday evening.
One of McKenzie’s own teammates sure let him have it, though.
After McKenzie returned a punt 78-yards for a score, third-year linebacker Stansly Maponga was pretty amped up. Maponga seemingly forgot that McKenzie is only 5-7 and 173 pounds, so it doesn’t take much to send him flying.

Colliding celebration aside, it was a great play from McKenzie.

“Seeing that I had room, I wanted to set up every block,” McKenzie said on Saturday evening. “I’m ready for that, all of my blockers were there. They had great blocks for me to get into the end zone.”
