The Pittsburgh Steelers and Le’Veon Bell are eyeing February 20. That is the first day that the Steelers can slap the franchise tag on the running back for a second straight season. They have less than 10 days to try and work out a new contract and everything is very quiet.
Bell spent Super Bowl week telling everyone who would listen that he wants a new contract and doesn’t want to play 2018 on the franchise tag. But if the two sides can’t come together there might not be another option.
