The Seahawks play the Raiders on Sunday in London. To find out more about Seattle’s week six opponent, I asked Brad Weiss of Just Blog Baby five questions about Oakland.

The Seahawks need a win on Sunday to keep their faint playoff hopes breathing. The Raiders need a win simply to make their 2018 season not seem so bleak. Of course, 12s want Oakland’s year to continue to be awful.

And Seattle should have a good chance of winning in London with a strong run game, led by Chris Carson. The Raiders have been poor against the run this season.

But to find out what chances the Raiders have of winning, I asked Brad Weiss of FanSided’s Raider’s site, Just Blog Baby, five questions about Oakland.

12th Man Rising: The Raiders have not started the season very well, of course. But there was probably more expected with Jon Gruden returning to coach in Oakland. What do you think about the job Gruden has done so far?

Brad Weiss: Jon Gruden has struggled in his return to the sidelines. Of course, trading away Khalil Mack prior to the season was no help to a defense that was one of the worst in football with him last season.  He has been out of the league a long time, and it is starting to look like he may need some more time to get used to coaching at the NFL level again. In addition, the talent level and depth for the Raiders is not what he is accustomed to, so he is having a hard time shuttling in players at key positions, like defensive end and cornerback. This roster has a long way to go before they are formidable in the AFC West...
