Russell Wilson to replace Jon Gruden, will host ESPN's new 'QB2QB' series

Russell Wilson will be hosting his own television show this spring.

Wednesday morning, ESPN announced the debut of the SportsCenter Special: QB2QB with Russell Wilson, which will feature the Seattle Seahawks quarterback mentoring top prospects in advance of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Wilson will meet with NFL hopeful quarterbacks Baker Mayfield, Mason Rudolph, J.T. Barrett, and running back Saquon Barkley. The four, half-hour episodes will air Tuesday, April 17 on ESPN.

QB2QB replaces Jon Gruden’s QB Camp series, which ran for eight years before Gruden returned to the NFL as the head coach of the Raiders. Wilson was a member of the 2012 QB Camp class and now plans to pass on some of Gruden’s valuable advice.

“Jon Gruden’s QB Camp was one of my favorite experiences of the NFL Draft process because it helped prepare me for some of the physical and mental demands of playing in the NFL,” Wilson said via the ESPN press release. “Now, I’m excited to have the opportunity to meet Baker, Saquon, Mason and J.T. to try to help them get ready for the next level as part of ESPN’s QB2QB.
