The Baltimore Ravens have made it clear they’re on the lookout for offensive weapons this offseason. While wide receiver has gotten the most attention, tight end typically has fared well in Baltimore’s system. Yet, there’s not a lot of upper tier tight ends set to hit the free-agent market.
But that might not stop the Ravens as the Detroit Lions are interested in trading tight end Eric Ebron.
A name to watch in coming days: Lions’ TE Eric Ebron, whose name surfaced in trade discussions at last weekend’s combine, per league source. Lions were listening.

While the report doesn’t mention Baltimore, it’d be a wise guess they’d be one of the teams asking.
The Ravens were reportedly high on Ebron going into the 2014 NFL draft. However, he was taken No. 10 overall, which in turn helped Baltimore grab linebacker C.J. Mosley. While the Ravens clearly won out on that battle, it likely doesn’t change how they feel about Ebron...
