Report: Bucs WR DeSean Jackson (concussion) expected to play vs. Eagles
/ Buccaneers

By Luke Easterling

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could have a key member of their offense cleared for action when they face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.

Wide receiver DeSean Jackson is reportedly expected to clear concussion protocol in time for Sunday’s game, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler:

Jackson went off in Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints, catching five passes for 146 yards and a pair of touchdowns, averaging nearly 30 yards per reception.

Jackson’s presence would be extremely valuable for a Tampa Bay offense that shocked the Saints with 48 points in last week’s upset win, tying a franchise record.
