Redskins running back Derrius Guice took to Twitter to quell concerns about a reported hamstring injury he is dealing with and said people are freaking out “for no reason.”
On Friday, some news came out about the health of Redskins running back Derrius Guice. The second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft tore his ACL as a rookie and missed his first season, but he was on the road to recovery.
However, multiple reports stated that Guice was dealing with a hamstring injury that he had suffered while rehabbing from his ACL tear. This injury reportedly will make him questionable for the start of training camp.
But Guice himself doesn’t seem to buy that. Shortly after the news of his hamstring tweak broke, Guice took to Twitter and told fans not to “listen to the noise.”
And later on, Guice would also say that people were freaking out about his reported injury “for no reason.”
Guice knows his body better than anyone else. So, if he is, indeed, faring well and progressing in his recovery, he should be fine and there is no cause for alarm. And given that the hamstring injury was reportedly suffered weeks ago, that could certainly be the...
