NBA roster cutdown day is officially Monday, but the Toronto Raptors devliered the bad news to four of their training camp invites on Friday.
Meanwhile, the team also announced it had signed Chris Boucher to a two-way deal, meaning he can split his time with the big club and Raptors 905 this season. The team had previously signed Jordan Loyd to a two-way deal (each team is allowed two such deals).
That leave the roster at 13 guaranteed contracts, one partially guaranteed deal, and two two-way deals:
So there you have it: Your 2018-19 Toronto Raptors!
Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean the end of Adel’s, Felder’s, Moreland’s or Collinsworth’s runs with the franchise. The Raptors may look to sign some or all of them to build out the 905 roster; there’s been no indication from the coaching staff at this point whether any of them have made enough of an impression, but don’t be too surprised to see their names pop up on the 905 roster this...
