Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has changed the direction of the franchise since his arrival in January 2017. Shortly later, the organization zeroed in on the perfect partner for McDermott, hiring Brandon Beane as general manager in May 2017. Together, their rendition of “the process” has established a new vision for the franchise.
The Bills have undergone nearly a complete roster turnover since McDermott’s arrival. The changes went into overdrive as Beane took the helm as GM.
The NFL Draft marks a major point in a general manager’s and coach’s tenure. These are players that the team has scouted and dedicated many resources in getting to know these players intimately prior to calling their names at the draft.
Together the duo has made 13 draft picks for the organization. While McDermott had a heavy hand in the selections in the 2017 draft, Beane did not take his post until after that draft.
