Not only is quarterback Aaron Rodgers planning to start Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, but the Green Bay Packers are also expected to have receiver Davante Adams available for the Week 2 showdown in the NFC North.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Adams is expected to play despite being listed questionable with a shoulder injury:
Adams hurt his shoulder at the end of a 51-yard catch against the Bears in Week 1. The Pro Bowler missed practice Wednesday but returned Thursday as a limited participant.
Adams caught five passes for 88 yards and a touchdown in the season opener. His 12-yard score was part of the Packers’ comeback from 20 points down.
He said this week the Packers were managing the injury after he returned Monday with soreness and stiffness in the shoulder.
