Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins praises Mohamed Sanu for his mentorship

The top two quarterback prospects in the 2019 NFL draft are Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray and Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins. There’s a decent chance they will both get picked in the top 10 come the end of April. Murray may go No. 1 overall to Arizona if they decide to ditch Josh Rosen, while Haskins has been connected to the Giants. He’s from New Jersey and he’s apparently a fan of Big Blue, according to a report by Ryan Dunleavy at NJ.com.

Haskins has connections with the Falcons through another Jersey native: wide receiver Mohamed Sanu. While Haskins did not go to Sanu’s alma mater Rutgers, his best friend Mohamed Jabbie did, who is also Sanu’s nephew. Haskins says that Sanu’s mentorship has been a great tool for him as he prepares for his career in the pros, per Dunleavy.
