No, the Vikings should not trade for Nick Foles

There was a column in the Pioneer Press on Monday stating the Vikings should forget about Teddy Bridgewater, Case Keenum and Kirk Cousins.

Instead, the column suggests, that the Vikings should go after Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles.

The column states that the Vikings should send multiple picks, including their 2018 first-rounder.

Vikings Wire opinion: No.

Also: WHAT?!!!!!!!!!!!

Foles did have one of the best performances in Super Bowl history on Sunday night. That’s true, and he’ll probably be a starter somewhere next season.

In three playoff games,  Foles completed 72.6 percent of his passes for 971 yards, six touchdowns and one interception.

But this is also a guy who started 11 games two years ago and threw seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

For any team that wants Foles, they’d have to trade with Philadelphia. If you remember right, Minnesota made a trade with Philadelphia in 2016 for a quarterback. That quarterback won’t be back with the Vikings next...
