Throughout his last two years in Philadelphia, the tight end position has been one that has really helped quarterback Nick Foles, but unfortunately he’s currently on a team that doesn’t have a star at the position. That said, he was asked by the media about the possibility of taking a tight end high in the draft Tuesday, which caused him to reflect on his time with the Eagles. He also expressed the importance of having a star at the position, which many feel the Jags will look to acquire later this month.
“[Having a tight end] in this league is so important right now. You want a guy who can go out and catch the ball,” said Foles. “I’ve played with two of the best in the game: Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz. I’ve also played with a young up and comer in Dallas Goedert as well as Brent Celek. […] It’s really important.
