Kevin White is facing the most important season of his football life.
After three injury-plagued years as a pro, the former first-round pick must prove he belongs not only in the Chicago Bears’ plans moving forward, but in the NFL altogether.
He’s taking the necessary steps to have a big season. White recently tweeted a photo showing off his ripped upper body and, according to Mitchell Trubisky, has been in Los Angeles working out with the second-year quarterback in an effort to build chemistry for the upcoming year.
“Kevin is working really hard to get back,” Trubisky said via the Chicago Tribune. “I’ve got a lot of faith in what he’s going to be able to bring to the table this year. He’s looking good while we’re throwing together out here. We’ve just got to continue to put in that work, and I know he’s busting his tail to really do big things this year.”
White joined the Bears in 2015 as a playmaking prospect out of West Virginia who was compared to elite talents like Dez Bryant and Larry Fitzgerald.
