The Miami Dolphins have kicked-off the 2018 season with their first pre-season game and so far, things are not looking very polished.
Repeat after me, it’ the Miami Dolphins first pre-season game. It’s Miami’s first pre-season game.
Thus far it’s a mixed bag with few highlights and most of them negative.
This is a modal window.
Ryan Tannehill – looked good and was able to move around well in the pocket and stepped up into the pocket to avoid pressure. He played the first series and then took the rest of the night off. They team drove into Tampa territory until a hold on Ja’Wuan James killed moved them back. The drive eventually stalled in Tampa territory.
Jason Sanders – Missed a 51 yard field goal on the teams opening drive
Kalen Ballage – has had some nice runs from scrimmage and did very well picking up a blitz but a fumble on a first down swing pass ended in a fumble and Tampa turned the ensuing drive into their second touchdown.
Special teams – Doesn’t look good. One for one field goal and giving up yards on kick and punt...
