Two weeks into the NFL season and the Pittsburgh Steelers are still without running back Le’Veon Bell. As the Steelers prepare to take on the Kansas City Chiefs, Bell remains in Miami and the team seems to be in the dark as to when Bell will arrive.
So far, through two games, Bell has forfeited just over $1.7 million in salary from his $14.5 million franchise tag he has yet to sign. For some perspective, the NFL’s leading rusher, James Conner will have $754,000 for the season.

No matter which side of the Bell you debate you fall on, there are a couple of truths we must acknowledge. First is Bell has placed his own personal value ahead of the goals of this team. If you think it is ok for Bell to turn his back on the Steelers for his financial future, so be it.
