Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald has not yet announced his plans for the 2018 season. He is under contract, but has not said whether he would play or retire. He did say, though, he would be ready to make an announcement in a week or two.
It sounds like that will come after some new travels.
Appearing on NFL Network, he said he was headed to Seoul to watch the Olympics and then visit a pair of Scandinavian countries in Norway and Iceland.
If that is his itinerary for the next couple of weeks, it appears he will make his announcement upon his return.
And that makes sense. He made his announcement last year on February 1. The Cardinals just recently hired a new coach. He has spoken to the coach and offensive coordinator. Now he can travel and mull over his desires to play while traveling the world.
Hopefully, once he returns, the itch is back and he lets everyone knows he will be catching passes once again.
