Recent Lakers rumors have been about their quest to sign LeBron James. A recent report is that he doesn’t care for one of the cities that could be competition.
With the NBA season now officially over, Lakers rumors will be swirling at an all-time high. Due to the Lakers having cap space and an appealing young core, they will be one of the most desirable destinations for free agents this summer.
As the best free agent available, LeBron James is going to likely be one of the top priorities for the Lakers. Since James is the best free agent available this offseason, the Lakers will obviously not be the only other team pursuing him.
So far, the Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockers, and Cleveland Cavaliers are the most likely destinations for James. However, Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal spoke on ESPN LA about how James feels about the city of Houston. Here’s what she had to say with text via LakersNation.com.
