If you ask any Dallas Cowboys fan they’ll tell you that Jason Garrett was on the hot seat before the Cowboys kicked off in Houston, and many would say he was sitting there before they kicked off the season as a whole in Carolina. Last week’s game turned up the heat, though.
With a decision to punt on 4th and 1 on the Houston 42-yard line in overtime last week, Jason Garrett isolated a large contingency of whatever supporters that he had left. People felt the move helped lead to a Cowboys loss and that’s one you never want your head coach to make. While supporters do seem to be fleeing, there is one who is battening down the hatches and he’s the one who really counts - Jerry Jones.
Jerry has long supported Jason Garrett time and time again throughout the almost-now eight full seasons that he’s been the head coach of the Cowboys.
