Jarvis Landry is new to Cleveland this year but already embraces the power of the Dawg Pound. The Browns wide receiver praised the boisterous fans for creating a college-like atmosphere and giving Cleveland a big boost during the home games at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Landry was asked in his weekly press conference if he felt like FirstEnergy was a college football venue with the fans.
“Yeah, we have it here,” the LSU product declared. “It is here already – the energy, the excitement level that is in the stadium already that is from the fans. Obviously, it has been a packed house every time that we have played at home. That is something that we have to use that to our advantage, the crowd noise when we are on defense and as an offense, try to find a way to create the momentum from the special teams plays and also the defensive plays, getting turnovers and stuff like that. Feed off of it. It would be a tough place to play.”
