James Ennis signs two-year deal with Rockets

According to Shams Charania, the Rockets have signed former Grizzlies and Pistons forward James Ennis to a two-year deal.

Ennis will at least be a Rocket for the upcoming season and whether or not he continues his contract is in his hands with a player option for 2019-20.

Ennis, 28, has played for Miami, Memphis, New Orleans, and Detroit in his four-year career. Last season, Ennis split time with the Grizzlies and Pistons with 7.1 points per game and shot 33.3 percent from three-point land.

With the Rockets losing two small forwards this offseason, an addition needed to be made and Ennis is one of the better small forward options left at small forward left in free agency.
