The Baltimore Ravens have started their first preseason home game on the right foot with opening touchdown drive on offense and their defense forces a punt on their drive as well against the Los Angeles Rams.
Baltimore’s outside linebacker Matt Judon sealed the deal with sack off the edge on third-and-10 as he took down Los Angeles quarterback Sean Mannion.
On that play Judon just beat the Rams offensive tackle to the spot and got the sack. You can’t teach it any better than that. Judon generating pressure off the edge is a great sign for Baltimore considering he finished the 2017 season with eight sacks, which is a career high for him.
Judon is certainly developing as one of the better pass rushing outside linebackers in the league. When you pair him with Ravens All-Pro outside linebacker Terrell Suggs who had 11 sacks last season, they are a threatening bookend for opposing offenses.
