Guice 'knows what's going on' with him after reported injury setback

Redskins running back Derrius Guice reportedly suffered a hamstring injury and is questionable for the start of training camp later this month.

Nobody from the team has said as much, themselves. A hamstring injury, especially one that doesn't sound major, isn't reason for major concern on its own, but given that Guice missed all of last season with a torn ACL, this should raise some red flags.

To his credit, Guice doesn't seem to be too worried.

"I don’t listen to the noise. I know what’s going on with me," he tweeted.

Just two weeks away from the start of training camp in Richmond, Virginia, NBC Sports Washington's JP Finlay has reported that "there were [already] whispers around Redskins Park about Guice’s availability to start training camp." With the reported hamstring issue added to the mix, his availability for the start of camp is very much up in the air.

Adrian Peterson was re-signed in the offseason, and after rushing for over 1,000 yards last year, he looks even more like the probable starter heading into the preseason.
