Entering the new league year (March 14), the New York Giants have 25 impending free agents. Four of those are exclusive rights free agents (ERFA), including offensive lineman Jon Halapio, linebacker Curtis Grant, defensive tackle Robert Thomas and tight end Ryan O’Malley.
Earlier this week, the Giants tendered an offer to Halapio for one-year and a little over $1 million. The veteran lineman wasted no time in signing it.
However, the remaining three are not guaranteed to return.
Ryan Dunleavy of NJ Advanced Media reports that the Giants do not intend to re-sign all of their remaining ERFA’s, although it’s unclear which ones will be allowed to test the market.

Grant, who signed with the then-San Diego Chargers as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Ohio State following the 2015 NFL Draft, also spent time with the Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers before joining the Giants in 2017.
