The New York Giants went into Thursday night feeling galvanized, confident and optimistic that things were going to turn around, their 1-4 record would be no more and a new day lay ahead.
They were wrong.
The Philadelphia Eagles stormed MetLife Stadium, punched the Giants right in the nose and kept their foot on the gas for a full four quarters. And when all was said and done, Big Blue was left a big puddle on the floor lacking any answers or understanding as to how they got this bad.
There were quite a few negatives, but also a few positives. Here’s a look at the studs and duds that contributed to Thursday’s loss.
