After staying out of the public spotlight for the past few years, former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon returned to his old stomping grounds of Ardmore, Okla. to host a youth camp for varied ages. Joined by former Oklahoma State wide receivers Josh Stewart and Tracy Moore as coaches, Blackmon ran a few seven-on-seven drills with those in attendance before handing out of school supplies to each individual.
Blackmon, 27, hasn’t caught a pass in the NFL since October of 2013 against the San Fransico 49ers. Not too soon after, the troubled star was suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Prior to that, Blackmon had several other incidents while in the NFL including a DUI in 2012 and another violation of NFL’s substance abuse policy in April of 2013.
Blackmon declined to interview with the media after wrapping the youth camp up and signing autographs, but Tulsa World did reveal that he now lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
