The Chicago Bears defense has been one of fantasy football’s darlings through five weeks of the regular season, thanks in large part to Khalil Mack and the ferocious pass rush.
In Week 6, the Bears’ defense faces a somewhat favorable matchup against Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins. According to NFL.com’s Adam Rank, Chicago’s defense will have a better fantasy day than Tannehill by the time the final whistle blows on Sunday.
I love the Bears defense this week. This really isn’t a bold prediction seeing that the Bears have scored at least 13 fantasy points in every game this season. Ryan Tannehill has scored less than 14 in three of five.
Rank’s prediction has a great chance of coming true, considering Tannehill’s struggles this season against pressure. His failures, combined with Chicago’s overwhelming pass rush, should result in turnover opportunities for players like Kyle Fuller, Eddie Jackson and the rest of the secondary.
If the Bears’ defense is somehow available on your league’s waiver wire, this would be a good week to scoop them up.
