The Atlanta Falcons had their depth exposed by injuries last season, laying bare a need to add more talent at several key spots. The best place to do so is of course in the 2019 NFL draft, now just 10 days away.
If the draft were to start today, Atlanta would have the 13th most total value for its picks: 1,906, according to Jimmy Johnson’s system, per Tankathon.
Thanks to a couple of compensatory selections, the Falcons have nine total picks going in:

Rumor is the Falcons are considering moving up to No. 8 overall in a trade with the Detroit Lions in order to secure Houston defensive line prospect Ed Oliver. They would have to part with a few of these picks and likely more in future drafts to come.
