Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has found a new team, and it’s one that Broncos fans will be sad to see him join.
Thomas will join the New England Patriots after signing a one-year deal with the reigning Super Bowl champions on Tuesday. Thomas is coming off a torn Achilles that ended his 2018 season and his short tenure with the Houston Texans.
The Broncos traded Thomas to Houston just before the trade deadline last season but he played in just three games for the Texans before the season-ending injury in Week 16.
The Texans had big hopes for Thomas in their quest to make a deep playoff run but after he was carted off the field against the Philadelphia Eagles, his NFL future was in question.
Now it could flourish as he goes to the home of the best team of the last two decades.
