Eagles’ Fletcher Cox, Malik Jackson named the No. 2 DT tandem in NFL

If you thought Fletcher Cox was an unstoppable beast on the defensive line before, wait to get a hold of the All-Pro with Malik Jackson lined up right beside him. Pro Football Focus recently dropped their list of the top interior defensive line groups, and the Philadelphia Eagles landed in the second spot, right behind the LA Rams.

“It’s no secret that Cox has been elite along the Eagles’ defensive front. Since 2015, he’s generated the second-most pressures among interior defenders (302) and has finished inside the top three in terms of a pass-rush grade at the position in each season. Cox’s pass-rush win rate in 2018 (20.9%) was the fourth-best single-season mark of any interior defensive lineman in the PFF era, and his career-high 91.2 pass-rush grade ranked inside the top 10 among qualifiers since 2006.
