Eagles chances of landing Josh Gordon are slim according to Vegas oddsmakers

Josh Gordon’s rocky six-year experiment with the Cleveland Browns will end, as the team announced its plan to release or trade their star wide receiver.

Gordon has dealt with multiple drug and alcohol-related suspensions since 2015, and today got the ax after he reported late to practice, complaining of a hamstring injury.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Gordon injured his hamstring at a promotional shoot, and the Browns, leery of his past missteps, are reportedly already attempting to find willing trade partners.

The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles need help at wide receiver and have the locker room to absorb such a personality. It remains to be seen if the Eagles are interested, but Vegas oddsmakers believe someone else will beat the Birds to the punch.
