Denver Nuggets: Takeaways from Chicago win

The Denver Nuggets returned to their winning ways with a 98-93 road win over Chicago. 

After a tough loss to the Clippers in Los Angeles, the Denver Nuggets bounced back and held off a late rally for a win over the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

Gary Harris scored with 18 points on 6-10 shooting from the floor whilst Nikola Jokic added 15 points on a hyper efficient 6 of 9 shooting, five assists and seven rebounds. The Nuggets started with a 9 point lead at the end of the first and led by as many as 17 early in the third quarter.

A late rally by Chicago’s bench saw them come within one point of stealing the game in the middle of the fourth quarter. Denver, however, thwarted the late game heroics and escaped with a narrow five point victory. Here are three takeaways from the game.

1. All five starters were playing like their regular selves.
