The Indianapolis Colts got back into their heavy-handed practices on Sunday as they begin preparation for their second preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Here are three takeaways from Sunday’s padded practice:
The Colts didn’t bring any new players in to try out at the center position but with second-string center Deyshawn Bond currently in the concussion protocol, they had to take a look at their depth.

In the first preseason game, the Colts had guard Mark Glowinski playing center, but that turned out terribly in a laughable sequence of botched snaps that included a defensive touchdown for the Seahawks.
Per Andrew Walker of Colts.com, the team had a number of players working at center including Matt Slauson, Le’Raven Clark, Ryan Kelly and Joe Haeg.
