College football Week 7: Giants scouting the Ducks, and other games to watch

Happy Saturday, everyone! This week has already gotten off to a dismal start for fans of the New York Giants, as they wasted their last opportunity and saw their season once again slip away in October.

The good news is that with the bad news out of the way we are free to enjoy some great college football matchups this week, without worrying about what Sunday may hold.

This week features a trio matchups with prospects that the Giants could definitely use on both offense and defense.

CBS - 3:30 p.m.

The Giants will be scouting this game.

Our first game of the day features an SEC throw down between one of the best teams in the country, with one of the best quarterbacks, and one of the best defenses in the country.

Jake Fromm (I always want to add “State Farm”) won’t be eligible for the draft until 2020, but if the Giants once again bypass a quarterback early in the draft, and opt to add to their offensive or defensive line, he should be highly considered the following year.
