Clippers Summer League Schedule Released

The Las Vegas Summer League is one of the most purely fun basketball events of the year, despite the somewhat shaky quality of play. It is a chance for NBA fans to geek out after months of not seeing their favorite teams in action, and an opportunity to check out the rookies entering the NBA.

This year, the Clippers have two lottery picks in the NBA Draft (whether they keep both of them is, of course, still up in the air), making this the most anticipated Summer League for Clippers’ fans since 2011 at latest.

For the first time ever, every single Vegas Summer League game will be on either NBATV or an ESPN affiliate, broadcasting 82 games for the world to see. As in similar years, the League is structured like a mini-tournament, with an opening round of play to determine seeding, followed by a single-round elimination draw. Each team will play at least five games (three in the opening round, one in the first round, and one consolation).
