The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up Day 13 of a successful training camp practice on Sunday.

Cornerback Keith Reaser was yet again held out with a quad strain..

Safety Leon McQuay was out with hamstring tightness.

Cornerback Makinton Dorleant was out with a hamstring injury.

Safety Eric Berry was held out of practice with heel soreness.

Guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif left practice with a head injury.

Running back Damien Williams left practice with a shoulder injury.

Defensive tackle Xavier Williams left practice with a stinger.



It was a touchdown filled day for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. I counted five different touchdowns to receivers during the course of team drills and one touchdown in receivers vs. secondary work. Mahomes did have one interception on the day, but it pales in comparison to the touchdowns he connected on.

That isn’t to say there weren’t struggles during today’s practice, but they weren’t the fault of Mahomes. Pass protection continues to look like an issue and Mahomes faced even more interior pressure once Laurent Duvernay-Tardif went out with injury.
