The Buccaneers are returning from their bye week with a 2-2 record. Speaking of records, wide receiver Mike Evans is breaking all sorts of them this year. When Tampa Bay hits Atlanta on Sunday for a pivotal divisional matchup, Evans and a few others are looking to work their way up in the franchise’s record book. Let’s see where things stand heading into week six:
Career Receiving Yards
Evans has 5,005 receiving yards in his career, which places him second in team history. He is just 14 yards away from owning the franchise record (currently held by Mark Carrier).
Evans is at 338 receptions, which has him in second all-time. He is 93 away from owning the top spot that is held by James Wilder.
Career Passing Yards
With Jameis Winston getting some reps in the Bucs’ week four loss, he added to his career stats a bit. He is set to start Sunday, meaning he has a chance to continue his climb to the top of the quarterback categories. He is fifth in passing yards right now with 11,781. He needs 868 to pass Doug Williams (12,648) for fourth. He could get a chunk of those on Sunday against a struggling Atlanta...
