The New England Patriots have re-signed defensive back and special teams ace Brandon King, as first reported by ESPN’s Field Yates.
King, who was set to become a restricted free agent, is set to earn $2.6 million on a two-year deal. He received a $400,000 signing bonus.
King has not contributed on defense since joining the league, so his contributions are mainly on special teams. He had eight tackles in 2017 while playing 52.3 percent of the team’s special teams snaps.
