Walker, an undrafted free agent in 2012, will take the roster spot of defensive tackle John Hughes, who was released via an injury settlement. Walker has been a member of the Los Angeles Rams, the New Orleans Saints, and the Detroit Lions during his NFL career. Listed at 6-foot-3, 310 pounds, Walker was with the Rams in 2017 after previous stops with the Saints (2012-14), and the Lions (2015-16).
During his career, Walker has amassed 85 tackles with 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. His best season came in 2014, when he appeared in all 16 games and made 14 tackles with 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble for the Saints.
Last year, Walker appeared in all 16 games, making four starts. He finished with 15 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble for a stout Rams defense that qualified for the playoffs.
Hughes was signed by the Bills at the start of training camp on July 26. He had previously seen action with the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, and the Saints but was injured Thursday night against the Carolina...
