Bengals could be thin at cornerback versus the Steelers

When the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend, several of the Bengals top players could be out. But none are more significant than cornerback William Jackson III, listed as questionable.

William Jackson III, John Ross and Cedric Ogbuehi all questionable for #Bengals on Sunday. Billy Price out. That's each of the last four first-round picks. Also, Giovani Bernard and Tyler Kroft out.

If Jackson cannot go or if he is limited it could make for a big day for Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown. He’s really the only cornerback on the roster who can cover Brown. Truth be told, Jackson is one of the more underrated cornerbacks in the AFC. It will always sting the Bengals took Jackson with the No. 24 overall pick, one pick before the Steelers settled for Artie Burns. Jackson has been slowed by a knee injury.

In addition, Cincinnati will be without its starting center Billy Price and starting tight end Tyler Kroft. These are both absences the Steelers could exploit. Without Price, Pittsburgh should use A gap pressure to put the heat on quarterback Andy Dalton. And the Steelers have been susceptible to the tight end position so working against backups can only help the...
