Going into Week 2 of the preseason and a game against the Dallas Cowboys, several Bengals players have made headway on end-of-roster battles — others, not so much.

Based on the first week of the preseason, there is no excuse to keep Matt Barkley over Driskel.
While Barkley still has plenty of time to get better acclimated and show what he’s got, Driskel already knows the system and has the trust of coaches — he also put on a show while leading the team to a win.
Knowing the Bengals only like to keep two quarterbacks, Driskel gets the nod.
